Our Spaces
Simon Ryan Theatre Capacity: up to 340 Our largest event space, suitable for performances, presentations, conferences, talks, ceremonies and larger gatherings. Theatre Bar Capacity: up to 70 A flexible space suitable for receptions, meetings, workshops, social gatherings and smaller events. Cinema 2 Capacity: 144 A comfortable auditorium with tiered seating, ideal for presentations, private screenings, talks and larger group sessions. Cinema 3 Capacity: 66 Ideal for smaller presentations, screenings, talks and group events. Art Gallery Capacity: up to 100 A bright and adaptable space suitable for exhibitions, receptions, workshops, meetings and community events. Dance Studio Capacity: up to 150 A large, flexible studio suitable for dance, fitness, rehearsals, workshops, training sessions and events. Under Stage Capacity: up to 25 A smaller space suitable for meetings, classes, workshops and group activities. Depending on the space and requirements of your event, facilities available at the Excel can include Wi-Fi, projector and screen, presentation equipment and flipcharts.
Tea, coffee and refreshments can also be arranged, with additional catering options available depending on your requirements. Community Groups & ClassesWe welcome enquiries from local clubs, community organisations, tutors, facilitators and groups looking for a regular or one-off space.
