High is Liverpool/Irish and returned home to Tipperary 32 Years ago to live and work near Golden, County Tipperary With a degree in Fine Art and a long standing passion for Photography in both developing and printing in the darkroom. He has embraced the digital age in landscape photography using digital equipment and using labs to produce high quality C-Type archive wet print photographs in black and white & colour. This exhibition of landscape photographs highlights our stunning scenery here in County Tipperary, which will be avilable to view in the foyer and French Quarter Cafe until the end of April. High has also produced a book called, Timeless Tippersry fragment from the past, which includes a selection of photographs along with oral stories which include stories from the School Collection, Duchas. Hugh has said that he hopes that his work will inspire people go out and visit some of the places he has visually documented, and see both the vision and beauty in which we live here in County Tipperary
